Shivpuri News: A case has been registered against Congress MLA KP Singh from Pichhore assembly of Shivpuri district for making objectionable remarks against a woman and her elderly husband.
A case has been registered at Pichor police station against KP Singh Kakkaju, the six-time Congress MLA from Pichor assembly of Shivpuri district. The complaint was lodged by Sarika Bhargava along with the Mandal President of BJP’s Mahila Morcha at Pichor police station. Let us tell you that Pichhor MLA KP Singh was discussing with his supporters in Pichhor regarding contesting the upcoming assembly elections. During this time, he had tried to know the ground reality of Pichor Assembly by giving various examples among his supporters. A clip of a few seconds of this meeting had gone viral on social media. In that viral video, KP Singh was seen making indecent remarks about the woman and her elderly husband. After the video went viral, BJP started surrounding Pichor MLA KP Singh Kakkaju.
At the same time, Congress MLA and former minister KP Singh Kakkaju had apologized for his statement regarding women going viral on social media and said that my statement is being distorted on social media. My opposition people are misusing it. My most sincere request is that neither have I made any statement nor do I have any such intention. I respect all women and if anyone is hurt by my statement, I apologize. After the video went viral, AAP party also came out in protest and said that Congress should think about his name. Before this, the people of Pichhor and first of all the women should be against KP Singh. If KP Singh does not come forward and apologize, then the Aam Aadmi Party will come to Pichor and stage a protest.
After that, on Monday, BJP’s Mahila Morcha unit reached Pichhor to register an FIR against the Pichhor MLA through a memorandum. On the complaint of women, Pichor police station has registered a case against the Congress MLA. Police station in-charge Shiv Singh Yadav has said that on the complaint of women workers of BJP, a case has been registered against the Congress MLA.
