Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, has given a statement regarding Sanatan Dharma, the controversy over which is not stopping.
Social media seems divided on his statement. On one hand he is being criticized and on the other hand many politicians and ex-users are posting in his support.
Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader and Tamil Nadu government minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said in a conference on the issue of ‘eradicating Sanatan Dharma’, ‘Sanatan Dharma is like malaria and dengue which needs to be eradicated.’
Udhayanidhi is the Youth Affairs and Sports Minister of the state as well as a film writer, director and actor.
He said, “There are some things which are not enough to oppose, we have to eradicate them completely. Mosquitoes, dengue fever, malaria, corona, these are such things which we cannot merely oppose, we have to eradicate them. Sanatan is also like this. Is.”
However, he later clarified his statement and said, “I never appealed for genocide of those following Sanatan Dharma. Sanatan Dharma is a principle that divides people in the name of caste and religion. Sanatan Dharma To uproot it is to preserve humanity and equality.”
BJP leader and former Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has said that Udhayanidhi Stalin has not only made shameless remarks against Sanatan Dharma but has also done the work of repeating it.
He said, “Why is Rahul Gandhi silent for two days? Rahul ji says that I am a Hindu and talks about gotra. Roam from temple to temple and offer water. What we used to say that they do hypocrisy for votes, that is being proved. Why is Nitish Kumar quiet? Many were claiming that I united everyone in Mumbai.
Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “Why is Tejashwi Yadav silent? Had taken father to see Siddhivinayak, was it all a show off? It is clear that this is a gathering of arrogant organization for vote bank politics, it is also opposing Hindu thinking, Hindu thinking, Hindu religion. They will keep doing this for votes. BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Modi said, “This son of Stalin, who is spreading hatred in the society, should be arrested and jailed. Sushil Modi said, “This amounts to a case of treason. You are hurting the sentiments of crores of people of the country and the entire history of DMK has been like this. They have reached here only by doing this politics.”
He said that the leaders of the Grand Alliance should clarify their position whether they are with this statement or not. If it is wrong then they should oppose it openly. The silence of big Congress leaders shows that they are with it.
